We’re a little different.
We’re a boutique digital marketing agency with team members based in Victoria, and the lower Mainland. We take on a select few projects to give the best attention to our clients. We won’t say YES without confidence. We don’t believe in second-best.
Here’s how it starts:
1. You book your free consultation for website design, or digital marketing:
Your discovery call is with our resident marketing strategist and owner, Jessy. With decades of expertise in digital and traditional marketing, all of your intake questions, comments, and goals are assessed, prioritized, strategized, and then our team builds you a proposal for your new website, or a marketing strategy.
2. Your website proposal looks like:
Our design team takes into consideration your goals, budget, industry, competition, and designs an ideal user flow with optimal CMS, and you receive three PDF mockups with a detailed quote, scope, and budgets to choose from.
3. Your digital marketing proposal looks like:
Our team builds a thorough complimentary website audit and digital marketing analysis to provide you with an in-depth PDF presentation detailing your current position, rankings, competitor analysis, and customized quotes for your project’s budgets and needs. From there, we book a follow up call to discuss your options.
4. The onboarding process:
Our onboarding checklist ensures we have everything we need to begin your project: from building your customer personas, to troubleshooting goal tracking and conversion measurement, and fine-tuning a comprehensive strategy to help you outshine your competitors. We believe in preparation.
5. How to best work together:
Email? Zoom? Text? Phone call? Coffee? In-office? You let us know. We’re flexible. We stay in close contact, and provide project updates weekly with routine check-ins for questions, comments, or concerns. Your dedicated project manager is available for any questions you may have. PS – unlike the other guys, we never have a communication charge. Communication is included in your monthly fees.
6. Measuring success:
We provide monthly reporting on social media, paid ad management, and Analytics conversions/traffic. Our SEO reports are quarterly. We will book routine follow-ups to discuss project success, and pivot as necesseary.
7. Break-ups:
Nobody likes break-ups. Especially us. Most of our clients have been with us since the beginning, and we’ve built long-lasting relationships with the folks we work with and built strong businesses together. But if it happens – the VDM guarantee is you are never married to us. We have an off-boarding process and will book a discovery call with your next agency, or transition to your in-house team. You own all of your assets, and we keep everything in your name.

We like to work with your budget. During our discovery process, our team builds out a blind quote, with a best-case scenario, and best case quote. From there, we work with you to strategize the best website for your budget. If you have a budget in mind, you can always mention it in your discovery call.
Our team specializes in WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify.
We do not. We have helped many clients untangle their hosting from previous agencies, and helped them navigate being held hostage. We always recommend and work with a local hosting company called Hosting Nation. The fine folks at Hosting Nation are prompt, responsive, cost-friendly, and available to us on our company Slack channel 24/7 should any issues arise with your website.
Yes! We’re happy to help you out with website changes, updates, security, plugin management, etc.
We charge to the minute. And unlike the other guys, we don’t have a minimum.

One of VDM’s most unique propositions is our guarantee: one company, one industry, one radius. It would be completely immoral and unethical to pit two competing companies against one another for our own financial gain. Not cool.
We do. We offer graphic design and print services and work with local print shops. We work with local newspapers, radio, television, and more. The sky is the limit.
Nope. We’re flexible and creative. Our agreements of services come with exit clauses for both parties. We understand that things happen and that sometimes marketing takes a backseat priority. We’ve had clients pause marketing, scale back, scale up, change priorities, deal with sickness, illness or emergencies, etc. With VDM, you aren’t stuck.
